The Need:NCFL needed several interactive projects completed, including an ambitious household learning project, which would show easy ways for parents to get their kids engaged in reading and learning around the house. The goal was to show that learning and reading need not be difficult or boring, and can be accomplished in everyday household situations and areas. |
|
The Clearly Trained Solution:We presented them with a concept of an interactive “house”, with multiple rooms, narration, and interactive hotspots that would highlight areas of interest and give information on how learning can occur in the area. The client loved the idea, as it fit perfectly with their concept of “household learning”. |

Project Details:We worked closely with the client to flesh out each house area, and what could/should be included. It was also important that we portray a “typical” house that most people could relate to (and not some overly huge mansion). Once we had the basics down, we were given ample freedom in creation and overall concepts. Our owner’s two-year old daughter even got involved, providing kid’s voiceover sound clips. The entire project encompassed a two-week development cycle (Aug 1, 2009 – Aug 15, 2009). |
